OFA - Orthopedic Foundation for Animals- To collate and disseminate information concerning orthopedic and genetic diseases of animals.To advise, encourage and establish control programs to lower the incidence of orthopedic and genetic diseases.To encourage and finance research in orthopedic and genetic disease in animals. To receive funds and make grants to carry out these objectives.
Oregon State University Pre-Veterinary Society- The Oregon State Pre-Veterinary Society is a group of professional students brought together by a common love of animals and the animal care profession. We take many trips and put on different events to get behind the scenes of the Veterinary world, donate time to our community, and provide our members with valuable knowledge to help them get accepted into Veterinary Colleges through mock interviews and application education.
OS - Orthopterists' Society- is an international scientific organization devoted to facilitating communication among those interested in Orthoptera and related organisms. The Society currently has 330 members from 43 countries on six continents. We foster research and publication in all aspects of the biology of these insects from ecology and taxonomy to physiology, endrocrinology, cytogenetics, and control measures.
OSERA - Ohio Scientific Education & Research Association- The Ohio Scientific Education & Research Association is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1991. It is an educational consortium of universities, hospitals, voluntary health organizations and corporations. OSERA was created to develop a better understanding of the topic of the humane and responsible use of animals in scientific activities until scientifically-valid non-animal methods are available.
OTS - Omega Tau Sigma Veterinary Fraternity, Eta Chapter (University of Georgia)- We are Omega Tau Sigma fraternity of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. We are a student veterinary fraternal organization promoting veterinary medicine through service and community. The Eta Chapter was founded in 1948.
OTS - Omega Tau Sigma Veterinary Fraternity, Iota Chapter (Oklahoma State University)- Omega Tau Sigma has a long-standing tradition here at OSU. OTS has been promoting brotherhood and the highest ideals of veterinary medicine since 1906. There are sixteen chapters in North America, our own Iota chapter was established in 1958 and has been going strong ever since. We serve the community through our annual blood drives, work with the elderly in the community, and service projects with children.
OVMA - Ontario Veterinary Medical Association- The OVMA is the professional association representing veterinarians in Ontario. The OVMA's products and services include economic research, continuing education programs, and public relations campaigns.
